5. Try Aromatherapy

Hunger is a universal distractor. Few of us can concentrate on an empty stomach.

Aromatherapy can help nip hunger-induced procrastination in the bud. It can also help with cravings caused by any food smells around you.

The best essential oils to put in your diffuser when you’re hungry:

  • Grapefruit
  • Cinnamon
  • Lavender
  • Bergamot
  • Peppermint

6. Exercise or Go For a Walk

Regular exercise not only burns calories and improves health but it can also reduce your appetite.

Experts have pointed out that about an hour of aerobic exercise is the optimum amount of activity to suppress hunger.

Even if that amount of exercise seems like too much for you right now, a 15-minute stroll in the park will still curb hunger for a little bit. And you’ll even burn a few extra calories doing it.
